Peace and Wonder

Wishing you all a little *Peace* this weekend...
and hoping that the hustle and bustle doesn't overwhelm you...
but instead,  fills you with the true *Wonder* of the season.

I've been a little more careful in my decorating this year. Everything has to be
done with a kitty in mind :-) It's almost like having a toddler (or two) again...
except this little guy can jump...very high!
I'm sharing a few Friday Pretties with you though,
and you can still enter my giveaway here
Blessings to all of you,
Marcia

  5. Hi Marcia,
I just love your soft, pretty Christmas decor. I know what you mean about the kitties. Mine are now one and three, so they don't pay much attention to the tree and other decor. LOL!
Beautiful post. Just love the "peace" on the glass jar.

    hugs

  6. Your decorations are so beautiful, Marcia. You are truly talented!
I remember our cat's first Christmas. She was a very small kitten and climbed up the trunk of the Christmas tree and rang the little bell ornaments. It was so cute to see this tiny little gray paw sticking out of the tree. :)
Hope you have a peaceful weekend as well. (hugs)♥

  17. May the warmth and beauty flows from your pictures.

We had cats years ago, that loved to play with the ornaments on the tree, and broke several.

Now we only have Molly, and she is to lazy to care. HaHa

  22. Dear Marcia, thank you for stopping by! A kitty - that is the sweetest thing in the world! We have a tomcat - he's grown up now, but he's the most loving and tender creature, and we're so fond of him, even if he breaks an ornament or two by wanting to play with them! Have fun - and peace! xx

  24. I know what you mean about the decorating. I've got 2 senior dachshunds who don't care about the decorations except for the presents under the tree. They like the paper and bows, so that's all we have to worry about with them. I also have had a chihuahua for a year. Last year she was too little and small to get into anything, but I feared what she'd do this year so "baby proofed" everything. To my surprise, she hadn't been phased by the decorating at all.

Still good for your kitty's health that you take precautions.

I like your white reindeer and the nativity.

Thanks so much for vising my blog and enjoying the Christmas cottage tutorial.

    Peace, Joy, Love...

  26. I'm so jealous that you got your nativity people so cheaply. What a complete bargain!

I'd love a set lie this. I'll have to keep my eye out for one.

  32. For years now, we have stayed away from shopping and being caught up in the commercial side of Christmas. We concentrate on the coziness of a decorated home. Your decorations are wonderful! I just love the jingle bell tree. Did you make it?

Sending peace back to you my friend!

  33. Marcia,
A white and red theme is a perfect way to decorate for the season. Your decor reminds me of the beautiful candy cane story.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas
    Cheers,
