Our house has a red and white color scheme this Christmas.
Toy wagons and painted pinecones have found a place,
ribbon is piled up ready to wrap gifts...
snowflakes are showing up everywhere,
and a few more little songbirds have joined us...
along with a couple of my children's pipe cleaner candy canes :-)
A few other colors have found their way in...
I do love old books :-)

Beautiful and I too have those list of rules..they are on our ref...they are years and years old!!!
It also reminds me to pray for that family...since the wife passed away this year...so thanks for that reminder.

The 21 rules of the house is wonderful and oh so true.
I love the pillow, it looks to say Kansas City on it. My home town, well actually I am from Independence but it all runs together.

Everything looks so well co-ordinated and PEACEFUL!! How do you do that in a house with 6 kids etc?

We share a love of old books Marcia! I just decorated my sideboard with only my red vintage books in my book rack and lots of what we call here 'poor man's silver' or 'farmer's silver'. I cannot imagine not have some old books place around the house no matter what the season. I love looking at the titles of other people's books too on the blogs.
