Simple Bulletin Board Vintage Redo

Some of the *little vintage items* I picked up at the Pasadena flea market
have finally been used for a little bulletin board redo :-)
First, paint while your kids are doing their schoolwork...
(then you're right there when they have questions)  ;-)
Measure...
and cut your fabric to fit....
Because I wasn't sure I'd want it to be permanent, ( I change things alot)
I used thumbtacks to attach fabric and lace..
You could use hot glue, but I used scrapbook dots to attach the buttons!
Vintage millinery, buttons and crochet flowers...

The little ones are my friend Terri's sweet children, aren't they adorable?
add photos or other inspirational items...
and hang it on the wall :-)
*I ♥love♥ using things you already have on hand *
I'm linking to Friday Pretties,
I hope you all find time to create a little something fun yourselves :-)
Thank you so much to the very talented Brandi
from Don't Disturb This Groove
for the sweet award she recently shared with me too.
She just reached her 100th follower so if you get a chance,
stop by and congratulate her!
Have a glorious weekend my friends...
(and yes, the kitty is still here, thanks for asking Mimi Sue) :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

So very pretty!

I do my projects in the room with the kids while they're doing school work too.

I'd never get anything done if I didn't work that way!

LOVE it! :) So pretty. I, too, love to use things I already have on hand. I'm one of those people who may see something and KNOW I have nowhere to use it RIGHT NOW, but hmmmm.....maybe I'll find a place to use it later? So I buy it! Makes for a nice stash to invade when the mood arises. ;)
