Our Hero, My Nephew...Please Pray

I'd like to ask you all to pray for my nephew, Jordan.
He's been serving his 2nd tour of duty in Afghanistan.

There is no easy way to say this.
Yesterday, he stepped on an I.E.D. and lost both of his legs.
Now he's fighting for his life.
He is a wonderful young man, willingly serving our country.
He's also a husband, and father to a young son.

Today our hearts are heavy and breaking.
Please pray for Jordan and his family.
  We ♥love♥ you Jordan.
You are our Hero!!

  25. I know how real that can be. How every day they risk their lives just walking around. There's so much to watch out for. The other day my husband's entire platoon drove OVER and IED. Thankfully it did not go off (bad wiring).

I will be praying for Jordan. A hero to his family, no doubt, and to our country.

"Heavenly Father, Thank you for Jordan. For making him brave enough to go forward and fight for our safety. For his love of our country. Please Lord, help him now. Right now. He needs your hand of mercy and strength. Send him the best dr's and kindest nurses to care for him. I uplift his family to you. Wrap them tightly in your grip. Send them all they need and heal their wounds Lord. Heal Jordan and bring him closer to you. Thank you Jesus. Amen"

my sister-in-law's brother, joe guyton, stepped on an i.e.d. in afghanistan a year ago, august 11. he's doing marvelously on his artificial state-of-the-art legs. running, golfing, swimming, you name it, he can do it. when he's wearing pants, you wouldn't even know anything happened.

sending lots of hope, good thoughts, and prayers your way. he is a hero.

  88. My heart goes out to you, his family, friends and unit. The staff at Landstuhl is top notch. Some of the best docs and nurses are called up off of reserve or guard status to fill the need there. I just wanted to reassure you that I am sure he is in capable hands, and the military family there really stands by and helps out their fellow brothers and sisters in arms when they are at Landstuhl. Praying for Jordan's family, friends, unit, caregivers and military liasons.
I also want you to know that I appreciate the sacrifices he and his family have made for our country.
