that for us. Instead it's been a go, go, go month. I feel like I've been running kids
here and there all month long. So glad we've had wonderful weather!
Day 8---Your Sky
I know I've slacked off over here on my blog, but I've kept up with the
Photo-a-day Challenge I told you about at the beginning of January.
This challenge has made me think about taking photos
in a different way. Since I'm taking photos with my ipod,
I'm definitely not getting the quality of a camera, but it's been fun playing,
so I thought I'd share a little bit of what I've been doing this month...
while running kids to and fro :)
The prompt for Day 22 was "Your Shoes"
I caught Milo laughing out loud :) Okay, he was really yawning,
but it looked like a laugh was about to emerge...either that,
or he thought I was telling him to "Say Ah" :)
One day the prompt was "Light"
I took a photo of the lamp next to my bed with the "lights of my life"
in a photo next to it :)
On Day 27 the prompt was "Lunch"
My lunches aren't usually too exciting, but that happened to be the day
my 16 yo daughter decided to cook a full turkey meal, complete
with homemade rosemary bread. It was delicious. Thank you Micaela!!
Each photo can be edited in a variety of ways on Instagram,
so you can get all sorts of looks in a matter of seconds.
There are other apps you can add to your ipod or iphone for free
that make it a bit more fun too.
This was today's photo for the prompt "You Again"
Guess what I was doing?
Waiting in the car for my daughter during her piano lesson.
I'm sure her piano teacher's neighbors were wondering about
this crazy woman, taking photo after photo of herself in the side mirror,
trying to get the desert sky reflection in the background just right, lol.
Do you want to join in the fun? Chantelle at Fat Mum Slim
has created a February Photo Challenge. You don't have to do it everyday,
and it doesn't have to be on Instagram. You can share them on your blog,
Facebook, tumblr, etc.
Here's the February Challenge:
If you decide to join in, even if it's just for a few of the days of the month,
I'd love to know so I can see what you've posted. Go over an let Chantelle know too.
Have fun with it.
If you're on Instagram, find me at mamasmurph.
Happy February Everyone!!
Blessings,
Marcia

I do love your pictures...Milo looks like he is about to take a big bite of the leg there...and you look like a movie star, only better! LOL
Great pics, and I am glad you are joining in, as I am with February - so much fun!
Those are fun photos. And having the inspiration ideas would really help.
I think photos in car mirrors are a blast. You look great!
Oh what fun! Beautiful picture of you in the mirror:) Have a blessed day my friend, HUGS!
Fun post. Your daughter's bread looks delicious.
These are beautiful photos Marcia and I love the one of you with the reflection, that is so cool and you look beautiful.
I hope February slows down a bit but I think with kids, there really is no slowing down. :)
Blessings to you!

Your photos look great! I love the one of your shoes with your cat yawning, what great timing! And your self-portrait in the mirror is beautiful!
Hope you're enjoying the nice weather where you are! (Here in Canada it's not so nice, but still a lot warmer than usually at this time of year!)
Blessings to you and your family! xo
Your self portrait is so cool and so is the merry go round. I was wondering if it was only a jan photo challenge but you gave the answer before signing off. Thanks for sharing. And I am looking forward to February's stock.
Warmest regards,
Ruby
Those were great photos! Hope you're having a nice day!
These are all great pics, including your self portrait! Milo is a cute kitty! The pic of your children is so sweet! Now after reading your post I'm craving another turkey dinner. :)
Hope things slow down for you. Happy February!
LOVE that last picture of you in the car mirror~ The best one of all, I think! xo Diana
I love the colors of those first two photos. The first one reminds me of sherbet. And the second is the colors of my kitchen, almost exactly. (With a bit of red thrown in for good measure.)
=)
These look great! I love the color in the ferris wheel and sky photos. The one of you is so cute :)
Your 16 yr old cooked a full turkey meal? My barely cooks toast! Next year will be Home Ec - we've got some work to do!!
Great glimpses into your busy world. I thought the cat was a photo in the picture..WOW! :)
I love looking at these photo challenges. Very artistic and inspiring!
Happy February to you!
xoxo...Gloria
The mention of a full turkey meal makes me realize that it's past dinner time. Luckily for me, it's carry-out tonight! The bread looks yummy. All of your photos are great and you look so pretty in the self-portrait! Have a lovely Friday and weekend!
Fun post. I especially love the mirror photo! I have to wait around for one and a half hours for piano lessons and 2 hours for voice lessons. All on the same day!! AARGH, what we do for our kids!
A funny cat and a sweet little chef for a daughter...you are really blessed. Have a great weekend.
