No, this one isn't the apple season photo :-) Just a view at my house. |
Just a quick post to say "hi" to all of you dear blogging friends. I know I haven't posted in over a week. Between homeschooling, getting ready for a yard sale, and going through fall decorations (which I'm just starting to get out)...we've been a little busy.
So sorry, I'm trying to get around and visit you all as time permits :-)
Our weather has finally turned cooler, and we're really enjoying it.
Here it is, apples galore! |
It's apple season! I hope you're all enjoying your favorite autumn recipes.
My daughter has already made her wonderful Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, and I'm ready for Apple Crisp.
What's your favorite Fall food?

Marcia

thanks so much for stopping by my blog over the weekend. I always appreciate your sweet comments so much.
ReplyDeleteHi! So wonderful pictures, your blog are amazing! Have a nice day! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is one huge vase, Marcia!! It looks so beautiful filled with those yummy apples....
ReplyDeleteI love anything with apples this time of year... my Mother-in-Law gave me a wonderful apple dumpling recipe several years ago and I always enjoy making it.
Our neighbors have pear trees and had a bumper crop this year so they have given us 4 bushels of pears so far- I may not even buy any apples this year because you can make a lot of the same things with pears as you can with apples. I've made 12 pints of pear butter so far and it turned out great! I will dry the rest of them... maybe make a cake with them for the holidays.
Love that big vase with the apples! We went apple picking too and have lots. I've made a caramel apple pie, but I'm ready for apple crisp and more of the apple recipes that I've collected! I need to get busy!
ReplyDeleteHope your homeschooling year is going well!
Blessings from our family to yours, Marcia!
