This little one showed up at our door yesterday in the late afternoon...
my husband said "NO!"
but later he made a little bed for her...
and gave her some food :-)
We thought she'd find her way home...
but she was still here this morning,
We're hoping she and Milo become friends :-)
She's got the sweetest little mask on her face,
and Oh, those eyes!!
these photos were taken by Joshua, my 10 yo son :-) |
If she sticks around, and we can't find her home...
what should we name her? Any ideas?
Blessings,
Marcia
I think you have already fallen in love with her! That's exactly how we ended up with a cat LOL. We usually take names from famous persons. Our cat is called Picasso, we once had a little rabbit with the name of Napoleon and my son's guinea pig was called Shakespeare.
ReplyDeleteOh...she is absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteThose blue eyes....awwwwwww.....
I have no idea what you should name her but I do hope you get to keep her.
What e sweetie...i hope she will stay and live in your home from now......enjoy her....she is so sweet !! love Ria...xxx
ReplyDeleteActually I hope the pretty kitty finds her home! Her family must be missing her terribly and will be so grateful that you are looking after her.
ReplyDeleteI love that you take in strays-I'm the same way-God sent them to us for a reason. Sure is sweet!
ReplyDeleteMarcia she's gorgeous! Her eyes are beautiful. I hope you get to keep her!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh - it's good that she has found a safe place to stay. If her owners never show up, she will already be at home. How about 'Bandit'?
ReplyDeleteFrank for Ole Blue Eyes.
ReplyDeleteThey just know who the wonderful people are that will help them either find their way home or provide a home for them. She is beautiful and I stink at names! I usually go with TV characters. :)
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet! What a pretty little kitty. Hmm... no ideas for a name, but I'm sure you'll come up with one once you know her better.
ReplyDeleteWe had a cat who looked very much like yours, named Rivet (I don't know what kind of name that is - it's from a very young Alanna!) I'm happy you took her in since it's soooo cold outside! ::Jill
ReplyDeleteGorgeous eyes!
ReplyDeleteAnd that mask - cute!
Maybe you should name her Masquerade!
You know once you name them, they are yours!! This is one lucky little kitty!! If Milo ends up liking her, you should name her Mia, so together they could be Milo and Mia!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
she's adorable, marcia. it looks like she chose the right house.

I think just like hobo's your house is marked, "lots of people who love cats live here." That is the reason I have five cats!!! People threw them out of cars at my house or they were abandoned or left as kitty's to fend for them selves or just wander up. They know always.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both...they seem to find me too! She is a beauty...call her that! I love it when they need help and I can give it. I am so glad she found you :D
ReplyDeleteUh oh....you have just given in...you are supposed to be strong...and say no more! Hahaha...we all know and completely understand. How can you possibly say no? Big smile.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Debbie
I think there's some invisible sign that says "suckers" somewhere above our homes that only cats can see! :) They always find me too! She's sure a cutie.
ReplyDeleteShe is SO cute! If she were a boy, of course I'd have to suggest you name "him" Otis, just because of Milo and Otis, and all that! ;) I think that is so sweet that you are taking care of her!
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing? I hope that your week has been good, and that you have a wonderful Friday!
Blessings,
Jenni
She's lovely! Hmmmm, as for a name ... maybe 'Lucky' because she found you!
ReplyDeleteawww she's precious! i'd name her Precious! My husband brought a stray dog to us this week from work...one of nine girls! Ha! My son named her Maya.
ReplyDeleteIf I weren't allergic to them, I would have a dozen cats running around my house and be known as a crazy cat lady. Alas, they make me sneeze, cough, and break into hives... So I admire them from afar, like now, when I see this precious little face....
ReplyDeleteLoved your bulletin board re-do, Marcia. So pretty, and practical. :-) Sue
strays make the best pets. Both of my cats were strays.
ReplyDeleteawww..........
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for strays too. They unfortunately rarely ever get along completely with our ol fellas.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to help with a name but I'm awful with that.
xx

Beautiful cat, I'd name her "Bandit" because she stole your heart and of course her "mask". Shalie
