You know you've been gone a long time when try to sign into your
blog and you can't remember your password. Yes, that happened :)
I want to thank all of you that stopped by and asked about me
or took the time to send an email,
and I apologize for not getting back to you.
At first I seemed to have bloggers block,
and then staying off the computer seemed more productive than
I realized it would, so I just stayed away from it.
I've missed all of you though, and I need to catch up :)
The other day we realized we had a little hummingbird nest in the tree in our front yard.
I don't think I've ever seen a hummingbird perfectly still before,
but this little one didn't seem to move at all today.
When I checked the photos though,
I realized that she'd blinked :)
I do wish I had a better zoom :) |
That's what I feel like I've been doing,
just blinking, and before I knew it, over a month had gone by.
I hope you're all doing well, and enjoying the newness of life
that Spring brings :)
Happy Easter!
Blessings,
Marcia

ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how much I get done when I don't blog - which always leads me to question why I do:). But it feels weird when I don't!
Have a wonderful Easter!
Adorable photo. I just love hummingbirds because they are so dainty and prissy.
ReplyDeleteHummingbirds are so fun to watch and they're down-right mean to each other. Did you know that? LOL
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a break from time to time. Glad all is well with you.
Loved seeing your amazing photo of the nesting hummingbird. Hope you'll have time to take pictures of the baby hummingbirds once they hatch so we can all see them. I was happy to see that you are posting again. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what you've been up to. I know what you mean though, sometimes a break feels so good, but then there's the pull of wondering what everyone's doing.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a hummingbird sit still either. You'll have to keep an eye on that nest...maybe there will be babies soon :)
Looks to me like you got a pretty good picture of that little hummingbird. I remember a few years ago my Uncle Danny and I sat on the front porch of my aunt's house in North Carolina for the longest time trying to get a great shot of the hummingbirds flitting around. Neither one of us had a very good camera so it was a useless effort. Glad to hear all is well. Time certainly does just fly by! Wishing you a wonderful week. Tammy
ReplyDeletewelcome back!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos! I had bird's nest in my garden and saw them with eggs, chicks and then after they left. It is impossible not to see God in these wonders, is not it?
Be blessed one week!
