I enjoy watching birds.
I like to come up with captions too :-)
I noticed that birds of a feather,
I thought it was interesting that they seemed to segregate themselves on land,
They would soar all together!
This paints a beautiful picture,
and perhaps...
we can all learn a little lesson
Have a blessed Sunday!
Marcia
Cute post.
ReplyDeleteHmmm....I find myself watching them more and more. Now I know what that means. lol
I love all kinds of birds. Really enjoy watching them too!
ReplyDeleteHow ols are you????....hahahhaahh!!great pictures today.....love it........happy sunday darling......love Ria...
ReplyDeleteWonderful post! :) Love these pics and the captions you came up with for them.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, I don't think it's a sign of growing old. I think it's a sign of slowing down and learning to appreciate the lessons in the beauty all around us. :) So, good for you!
Maybe it's just as we get 'older' we know enough to slow down and notice what's around us! Kind of like little kids do!
ReplyDeleteHavy a wonderful day!
I love your photos but I really love the captions. So funny.
ReplyDeleteI love birdwatching, Marcia. And I enjoyed looking at your beautiful photos. Loved your captions, too. Yes, we can learn lessons from these little creatures.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a blessed weekend.
Blessings!
I am definitely "getting older" because I love watching the birds :)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are excellent as well as the captions going with them. My favorite is that flock of seagulls "soaring"!
Maybe that's where the expression came from, "Look at THAT old bird"...and they are talking about ME! Nice photos and I like your captions too;>) Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteWell darn if that is a sign then I am getting old too. I can sit and watch birds all of the time and I like nothing better than watching them at the beach. Lovely pictures by the way.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate & watch the birds more too... pelicans in particular for some reason. Lovely shots & great observations :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post Marcia. Funny captions... lol! I love watching birds, too. I guess it goes hand in hand with gardening. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
xoxo,
Jo
I'm in FLA for a week and I always love watching the birds on the beach. Some of them walk so fast on those two little legs. I also love how they fly over the water and suddenly dive in for food. Yeah, birds are interesting! Nice pictures...
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm getting old too! Love the pictures. Especially the one of them taking flight!
ReplyDeleteI ditto exactly what Mrs. Rabe said -- she took the words right out of mouth. Blessings to you and yours! :) Tammy
ReplyDeleteWell I am getting older and I am watching the birds more too. I had a conversation with an african bird on Friday at the zoo. I don't think anyone pays attention to the birds at the zoo so this bird was overly excited that I said hello to him.
ReplyDeleteI often like to hang out by myself, just like that single bird sitting in the sand; but I do enjoy an outing with a group, too. Just like the multitude of birds that took off together. Indeed, a nice little lesson....

Uh oh, I've always loved watching birds....maybe I'm an old soul in a middle aged body :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Marcia! Its so rainy out here i can tell you its for the birds ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Marcia! Its so rainy out here i can tell you its for the birds ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's not a sign of getting older...I have loved watching them since I was a little girl sitting up in the tree! ;D
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL photos! What a wonderful post, I am inspired to do some bird watching now. We were outside watching the leaves fall yesterday, they were coming down almost like rain. Such a pretty sound. I guess that means there may not be too many birds around here left to watch. Fair weathered friends- they are! :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
There's a connection, oh, oh. Well, I love, love the shots!!

I grew up in San Diego and watching the sea gulls was a favorite pass time of mine as a kid - as long as they didn't fly over my head and leave me a "gift."
ReplyDeleteWe love to bird watch here in Florida! I love the captions...and the photo of the birds in flight..soaring! Beautiful! ♥
ReplyDeleteThen I was born an old soul! :) I have always loved watching birds. Your photos are VERY beautiful!! So peaceful and relaxing to view...:)
ReplyDeleteSweet blessings to you,
xoxo Gloria
I enjoy bird-watching, too, Marcia... and I love hearing the different calls and sounds they make. I loved the pictures- you definitely have some species that I've never seen in my neck of the woods! *lol*
ReplyDeleteThese photos and captions are terrific, Marcia!!! I really like, "Are you my mother"!
