Seems It Never Rains....

 in southern California

 Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California, but girl, don't they warn ya?

 It SNOWS, man, it SNOWS :-)
Okay, that's not quite the way the lyrics go...
 but we're sure enjoying the fluffy white stuff around here.
I thought I'd share a little with you :-)
This is my garden, and I pulled these from it today...
they'd been forgotten until I saw them peeking up in the snow.

    It is so funny to see snow on Palm trees. I hope that you are having fun in it. Here in snowy Michigan it is almost an everyday occurrence. I am longing for some Warm Sunshine!!!

    The snow in the desert is so beautiful. I remember it snowed a couple of times when we lived in Ore Grande! (1965)

    Marcia you have to do another follow up post tomorrow on how those lovely delecate flowers and palm trees survive the snow falls?? and plucking up GREEN ONIONS IN THE SNOW?? it's so Scarlett Ohara!! do tell...inquiring minds WANT to hear about snow mixed with those dainty little darling flowers! serious about this! ha

    I'm not sure why but I love love pictures of flowers blooming underneath the snow. It somehow makes me think of people, how we too can bloom when under unusual and not so choice circumstances.

    We enjoyed snow last year. South Louisiana just does not get snow. But we do get our share of rain.
    Sometimes we feel like singing Rain, Rain, go away.

    Now that is ALOT of snow! :)

    I have to say I am absolutely thrilled that you will be joining me on the carriage ride destined for Royal Wedding Wednesdays. When I hit the "publish" button I had a momentary feeling of panic that my post would be met with only the sound of crickets chirping. It has been quite the opposite, so much so that I feel we have a kindred spirit/sisterhood sorority.

    I grew up in San Diego and never saw even one flake of snow... now I live in the south and see snow every year. Glad you got some to play in!

    All our snow has gone now. It seems like an age ago that it snowed here!!! Maybe we'll get more in February...that's when it usually comes in England.

    Your twins look so gorgeous together like that. Having children makes me enjoy the snow all over again as an adult!

    seems like you usually don't have any snow in your area..... but this is really the first "white" palm tree, I've ever seen!

    Palm trees with snow is just weird! Strange weather lately everywhere. We got almost six inches of snow in Atlanta last night!! The city has shut down completely - so I'm catching up on my blogs :)
