A recent trip to Ikea with my friend Jill (from Bailiwick Studio) made for a very nice day.
We always have a great time when we go shopping together.
It's about an hour's drive from here, so this was only my second visit.
I can't wait to go back again! They have great prices and so much to choose from.
Many color selections,
Wouldn't it be fun to have several of those clocks set in different time zones?
I thought about buying one of these pretty chandeliers for my entryway.
Modern artwork and pretty books,
Beautiful photo art...these were very large, and I don't have anyplace to put one,
but I did love them both :)
This swivel chair was so comfy!!
Lots of pretty pillows and pillow covers,
I bought a couple of these tea towels, and....
my little stash :)
Do you see a summer color scheme in my cart?
We stopped at Pottery Barn after this. I'll show you the photos soon.
Marcia
Lovely summer colors! IKEA is fun!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to an Ikea. It is probably a good thing for my pocketbook!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you found some great stuff...love Ikea!
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I've never been to Ikea.
ReplyDeleteI need to change that!
=)
Ikea is only 15 minutes from where we are (unless there is a major traffic jam). We make sure to go when we know it won't be crowded and then get out before the throngs of people arrive. I love just browsing there even if I don't buy but usually manage to walk away with candles and frames. Looks like you got a nice bit of pretty summer items going on there. Love Pottery Barn too, but mostly for inspiration. Way overpriced! Have a wonderful Wednesday. Tammy
ReplyDeleteLove Ikea too...the nearest one is 4 hours away...but you've captured its goodness!!
ReplyDeleteIs that a lantern in your cart. I bought one there last trip for somewhere on our deck!
Love, love, love visiting Ikea and plan to go again in 3 weeks while on holidays!!

We live only 5 minutes from IKEA. All our furniture we bought when we first married were from there too since we lived in Stockholm, Sweden. It was affordable for us to do the whole house. Now we buy things because we love it with the added measure of good prices. :-) I would love to see what you did with your purchases.
ReplyDeleteHugs from Holland ~
