This is the inspiration for Christmas this year...

the colors I love :)
It reminds me of this...
Last year I decorated in mostly red and white,
But this year, I'm thinking a little blue and white (and silver) might be nice,
*
They even have gift wrap with a nautical theme,
with a little silver ornament it looks so Christmas-like :)
*
Isn't this lovely?
*
Of course, I want to make some of these :)
*
And this simple homemade wreath is just beautiful,
*
What colors are you going to decorate with this year?
*
I wish you all a Wonderful Thanksgiving,
enjoying it with those you love ♥
Our family has so much to be thankful for :)
Blessings,
Marcia

ReplyDeleteMarcia,
ReplyDeleteI am such a traditionalist - red, red plaid with the greens! Love it so!
The blue and white is pretty and I always believe you should decorate using colors that you love and make you happy. Can't wait to see how yours turns out!

Just the old red and green for me, but what you've done here is AMAZING and so, so lovely.
ReplyDelete=)
It's gonna be gorgeous! Years ago I saw a magazine article about a blue and white Christmas. She had bowls of yellow lemons for a little pop. It was amazing. Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out. Mimi
ReplyDeleteWow cool photos, I have to get my Thanksgiving out of the way before I can even get my mind around Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love your colors that you are going to use though. Very nice.
You have a very nice Thanksgiving too.
Blessings to you and your family.
All the best. I do hope that it turns out to be as lovely as seen in these pictures. Heartiest wishes for thanksgiving also.
ReplyDeleteGood tidings to all :)
Traditionally I do red and white, but I am having a little love affair with aqua at the moment so I might see if I can incorporate that in this year!
ReplyDeleteHello.. thanks for your lovely comment in my blog.. I am very happy..
ReplyDeleteYour blog is soooo nice..
Have a wonderful evening..
many hugs Susi from Germany
How gorgeous!! I think my husband would absolutely have a fit if I strayed too far from our family traditions and used anything else for Christmas. We are in a much smaller house this year..but we still have the big house on the market so I guess I can decorate two houses. They will be decked out in greenery, cranberries, ribbons and bulbs. Last year we made the switch to nativities and downplayed Santa so I am sure the Nativity scenes will be highlighted! Have a lovely Thanksgiving!! Beth
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration. I am thinking of similar colors. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteHi Marcia, I hope you and your family had a lovely thanksgiving. I love the blue and white and silver theme. Very pretty! Bright red and green seems a little garish to me now. Not sure what I'll do this year. But I do like your idea. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteFor the past four years I've decorated in aqua blue and white for a coastal christmas. This year I needed a change and so am decorating in nordic whites, greys/silvers and a touch of black. Aqua blue is so cheerful for christmas. You will like it.
ReplyDeleteOh, such pretty blue and white pictures! I especially like the wreath...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Pinterest too!
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!:)
Hi Marcia, your name caught my eye over at Kim's (Farm Girl) place. These photos are gorgeous. What a beautiful choice of colors for Christmas, and I think it would be perfect for us since we live in Florida. Maybe I'll mix it up with some of my red and white (already purchased some gingham paper and ribbons). I have a beach themed room that I'm hoping to decorate a bit for Christmas too, so this gives me ideas.
ReplyDeleteLoved stopping by.
Blessings,
Marcia ;)
