We've had plenty of rain over the past few weeks, so I'm sharing some photos
taken this week of the flowers in bloom. The rain has been good for them.
My fear of bees kept me from getting many photos of him :-)
See more Friday Pretties at I Love Pretty Little Things :-)
We are still wishing for a little of this though....
maybe next month!
We really do get snow here in this part of Southern California :-)
Happy New Year to all of you...
and thank you so much for your sweet friendship!
Blessings,
Marcia
Beautiful colors! Oh my gosh, I can't believe you have so many flowers this time of year! We're not that far away from you and everything is dead, dead, dead right now. Those pictures are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt's kinda spring-like in OH today too. All the snow is melted and I can see a couple of violets, but not the variety of flowers like you have! Wow! I feel like I should go plant some, it's so warm! But I want some snow too, maybe even a little blizzard!
ReplyDeletehi.

Your flowers are a sight for these color hungry eyes. We just have a bit of leftover snow and a lot of dead plants here.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Your flowers are a breath of fresh air to me..we still have no snow either! Happy New Year :D
ReplyDeleteWishing for more flowers here! I will trade you! :) Actually it rained here in Michigan and the snow, at least by us, is almost gone. I am sure that we will get more though!
ReplyDeleteHappy New year!!!
Happy New Year Marcia Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful share today. I love all the beautiful flowers.
We got our snow here in Phoenix yesterday. Yes we did. I couldn't believe it. A true treasure for the 30 or so minutes that it lasted. We actually had a freeze warning last night and had frost on our roofs this morning. Quite unusual for sure.
Hope you get a little of the white stuff one day. It really was delightful.
I have so enjoyed blogging with you this year. I love coming to CA.
Many hugs sweetie, Sherry
Pretty flowers, Marcia! The snow pic is pretty, too. I don't mind the snow as much as I thought I would at my age. I guess some days are better than others, tho.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family all the best in the coming year!
Nancy
This is the time of year for planting around here. We had a little bit of rain this morning but it just kinda made everything a bit splattered rather than washing things clean. It's been cloudy and windy all day. So glad to have met you through blogging. Wishing you all the best in 2011. Blessings to you and yours, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so pretty. I have pansies blooming but no snow. Not here in the south. The Mums are pretty also. Need a little brightness in the gloom. Have a blessed New Year.
ReplyDeletelove the flowers in bloom! in the midwest, we have a long winter to look forward to, before the flowers will bloom again. snow, snow and more snow...
ReplyDeletehappiest of new year wishes to you, marcia.

Beautiful pictures! I bet the weather is so nice in California. It's been cold and miserable here in Ga, but today we've had Spring like weather. Just makes me really anxious for warmer weather. Happy New year to you!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are enjoying the sunshine and bees...so pretty to look at!
ReplyDeleteWe have no snow here in Calif where we are either (the central valley). It is pretty to look at, but I am thankful I don't have to drive in it!
I had to laugh at your comment about the Wii bowling. We got a system (not the wii fit yet), and my dear hubby and oldest daughter have been playing all week. Both complaining of sore muscles...:) I am a little afraid to try it! I am sure I will at some point. After I get the house all cleaned up after Christmas. :)
Happy New Year to you and your family!! May God fill it with many joys. Thank you for your dear friendship!
xoxo Gloria
