How was your weekend?
I know I've been neglectful of my blog this week. The weather has improved
and I've been spending my free time out in the garden.
The broccoli and lettuce have been good, the tomatoes are blooming,
and we have so many strawberries!!
They're good in smoothies, on top of shortcake, or dipped in chocolate,
but they're especially tasty right off the plant.
We also have a little garden color right now....
I hope you were able to spend some time outside this weekend too :-)

You had me at 'strawberries'! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful....great colors.......lovely week.....xxx...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful goodies in your garden:) I spent the afternoon outside yesterday playing in the dirt!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week my friend, HUGS!
Strawberries look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI don't think my tomato's are even blooming yet. We have been having so much rain. Serious weather here in Missouri last evening.
Your flowers are beautiful.
Your garden looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt has rained so much here that I just got my garden planted this weekend. The rain is back this morning so I won't have to water. I just hope it doesn't drown my plants.
Look at this...wonderful! I am getting one item at a time, fun but not much can be done with them but eat them right at that spot in my tiny garden.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers....dreamy.
Your garden is well advanced as compared to mine. My tomatoes are still seedlings and my strawberries are not yet blooming. Everything in it's own time. Have a great week. JB
ReplyDeleteThose strawberries look soooooo good!
ReplyDeleteLove your pics!
Have a lovely week!
Christine
It's all so beautiful and tasty looking. We picked the last of the ripe strawberries on Saturday but there are new little ones growning so it won't be long for the next batch. I agree, right off the plant is best. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteA mouth watering post.....yum.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so good and the flowers are so pretty. Love strawberries and wanted to plant some this year, but didn't get the plants and I guess it's just as well since we've had so much rain. It's been hard to get everything planted. Lettuce was early and doing well and other things we've planted are doing pretty well, but it's too muddy to weed. Rains sure make the weeds grow too! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteEverything look beautiful. Who can stand to be inside when it is as beautiful as it is, we alas are to familiar with the heat. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a very nice week.
Is your school almost out?
Love these gorgeous shapes and colors.
ReplyDelete=)
We have some tomatoes on the vine on one plants and flowers blooming on the other...we have a ton of stawberries too, but they are really small...tasty though! Your garden looks wonderful...pretty blooms too!
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks great, and I love the beautiful hydrangeas and roses!
ReplyDeleteWe are still stuck in a gloomy, rainy weather pattern but your beautiful photos brightened my day!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS images!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until we have some fresh veggies from our garden!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
I did get out this weekend. Saturday was lovely, but Sunday was turtleneck weather. So eager for two sunny days in a row. Your strawberries are lovely!
ReplyDeleteYour plants look wonderful. Are you strawberries in pots or the ground? I have mine in a pot and had to put it behind the pool screen because something was eating them!
ReplyDeleteYum! What a fruitful garden and your flowers are beautiful.I can see why you have been spending time in the garden...I would be too..
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful news about Jordan.
Have a sweet day and hugs, Elizabeth
Your photos are so beautiful! I always want to grow vegetables, etc. I even bought the seeds, but never seem to get around to it. Are those hydranges? I've even tried growing them, but they didn't make it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Janet
Your garden is gorgeous! I can see why it is keeping you in it...:)Our weather has been crazy here too. But the last few days have been perfect!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments. I am so happy to hear about Jordan! That is wonderful news! We are continuing to pray for him and his family (& friend). Thanks for sharing!!
I hope you have a happy week!
xoxo...Gloria
I love the shot of the blue flowers! They look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love all your garden things..we are still having such cold weather!!! But I can't complain, at least it's not hurricanes!
ReplyDeleteAt nearly 110 degrees each day, my plants aren't doing so well and it is way too hot during the day for outdoor activities. I always wondered why the locals are such night birds -- turns out they can't do anything during the day so they are out at night. I just can't live that lifestyle -- I need my beauty sleep! :) The colors of your garden are so beautiful. And those strawberries look scrumptious! Best wishes for the rest of the week. Tammy
ReplyDeleteOur weather here is hit and miss...one day sunny...three days rainy. But I'm sure my plants and garden are loving it. Your flowers look amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by at my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures, they are amazing! And isnt it hard to find the time (and motivation) to stay indoors to update the blog when the weather is nice and the garden is waiting? ;-)
I will follow you.
Oh how lucky you are to have such a beautiful, lush garden. I always want to be a gardener but still haven't mastered that yet :)
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful Marcia! Your strawberries and flowers are so vibrant. I hope you are enjoying your weather and have a wonderful weekend!
